We all know we’re supposed to learn from our mistakes, to pick ourselves up when we fall down. Easily said, easily done? Growing up means making mistakes and learning from them. You build strength and resilience. It’s important not to forget that bad things happen (usually when least expected) and not come down on one’s self too hard. Planning ahead and not being surprised when something bad happens will allow to solve the problem effectively (without blaming anyone). Resilience isn’t about not being afraid. On the contrary, when scared resort to communication and build resilience. Personal happiness, willingness to explore and step outside comfort zones are factors that help people become more resilient. When you are more resilient you are also more resourceful (when it matters the most).
